Akshay Kumar recently celebrated his Birthday and received lots of love and sweet wishes from his fans all over. The actor who is currently busy shooting for his film Bell Bottom abroad celebrated his Birthday with his family.  As Akshay Kumar is back to work amidst the Coronavirus pandemic, the actor took to his social media to celebrate the love he has for the National language ‘Hindi’. On the occasion of Hindi Diwas 2020, Akshay Kumar penned down a heartfelt wish in Hindi. The Sooryavanshi actor tweeted in Hindi and mentioned how proud he is to be able to express his thoughts in the national language.

On Twitter, Akshay Kumar penned down a wish in Hindi as he celebrated Hindi Diwas 2020. The actor mentioned in his tweet how his parents always taught him to respect the language in which you think and dream. He tweeted, “मेरे माता पिता ने मुझे हमेशा सिखाया कि उस भाषा का सदा सम्मान करो जिसमें तुम सोचते हो और सपने देखते हो।“

As Akshay Kumar went on to express his thoughts and emotions, he mentioned what importance the language of Hindi has for him in his life. Talking about it further, Akshay Kumar mentioned that for him, the language that he thinks and dreams in is Hindi. And hence, he spoke about how his dreams in life have come true only through Hindi films. While the actor opened up about how his dreams come true through Hindi films, he then continued to share that he is proud that he is able to express his thoughts in Hindi. The actor finally concluded his tweet by wishing all his fans on the occasion of Hindi Diwas 2020.

Meanwhile, Hindi Diwas is celebrated on September 14, this year. Hindi Diwas is celebrated every year on September 14 because, on September 14, 1949, the Constituent Assembly decided with one vote that Hindi will be the official language of India. As the language of Hindi was declared the official language of India, the day also marked the 50th Birthday of a pioneer of Hindi, Rajendra Sinha, one who struggled to make Hindi the national language of India. On the other hand, today, India has Hindi and English as two official languages.
